FAQs

How do I become a patient?
Simply contact our clinic to add your name to our waiting list. You will be contacted in the near future. The GNPLC only accepts Georgina residents who do not currently have a regular healthcare provider.

Will I have the same Nurse Practitioner for my visits?
When you become a patient at the clinic, you will be assigned to a Nurse Practitioner who will continue to see you for future visits. Occasionally, you may see a different Nurse Practitioner if your appointment was booked on the same day.

Who is part of the GNPLC team?
The Georgina Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic is a multi-disciplinary model. Our interprofessional team includes Nurse Practitioners, consulting Physicians, a  Social Worker, a Dietitian, Pharmacists, a Registered Practical Nurse and administrative support staff.  The team works together to provide quality primary health care to our patients.

Is the GNPLC a walk-in clinic?
No. The Georgina Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic does not offer walk-in services. You must be a patient of the clinic and book an appointment to be seen.

What if I have a sudden illness and need to be seen soon?
Call our office in the morning and we will do our best to have you seen that same day or the next day by one of our Nurse Practitioners. It may not be your own Nurse Practitioner, but you will still be seen by someone who cares about you and wants you to feel better soon.

Do you have any appointments after hours?

Yes. Our clinic offers extended hours to 7:00pm every Tuesday and Thursday in order to accommodate those patients with less flexible schedules.
